7-inch High-Powered LED HeadlightsUpdated 6 months ago

Installing on Classic Cars:

  • When installing these lights on classic cars, please be aware that modifications may be necessary depending on the specific vehicle.

  • You will not need to use the included adapter; the plug should fit directly.

5769 Lights with Halos:

  • These lights do not have external LED drivers.

Anti-Flicker Equipped:

  • The latest version will have a label on the main headlight plug.

  • Built-in canbus adapters are included for ease of use.

5769-123 Lights:

  • If you wish to use the factory turn signals in addition to the 5769-123 lights, you will need 2x 5851-504 Y Adapters. These should be installed as shown in the provided instructions.

For 5769-123 Lights (Eliminating Factory Turn Signals):

  • If you want to eliminate the factory turn signals, you will need 2x 5013-504 Load Equalizers. We'll provide you with installation instructions to make the process smooth and straightforward.

For 5769-332 Lights (Halo Rotation):

  • The 5769-332 lights are not side-specific. The way your halos rotate depends on the cables connected to the controller. Specifically, the HLS (Halo Lighting System) has a 4-pin layout from the controller harness, while the FLS (Fog Light System) has a 2-pin layout from the harness.

Component List:

  • We have a few essential components:

    • 5769-DYNA-CON: This is our Dynamic ColorSHIFT Controller, intended for internal use.

    • 5851-504: The Wrangler JK Switchback Turn Signal Y Splitter Adapter, which can be crucial for specific installations.

Warranty or Replacement (Plug for H4 to H13):

  • If you ever need to warranty or replace a 5769 plug for H4 to H13 lights, you can use part number #2087-504.

  • Fitment Information:

    • Our lights are designed to fit any vehicle with 7” sealed beam lamps. This wide compatibility makes them a versatile choice for various vehicle models.

    • Fitting these lights to JL or JT/Gladiator:

    • For Jeep JL or JT/Gladiator owners, we offer convenient solutions:

      • You have the option to purchase packaged kits with all the necessary brackets and harnesses, which can streamline the installation process. Look for the 5769J- kit for a comprehensive solution.

    • If you prefer to purchase the brackets and harnesses separately, here are the part numbers:

      • Brackets: #5843-504

      • Harnesses: #5844-504

    • These options are designed to provide you with flexibility when fitting our lights to your Jeep JL or JT/Gladiator, ensuring a seamless and reliable installation. If you have any questions or require further guidance on fitment or product options, please feel free to contact our customer support team. We are dedicated to helping you make the right choices for your vehicle.

  • WIRING INFORMATION:

  • Issue: Rubicon with Factory LEDs

    • If you have a Rubicon model with factory LEDs and you're facing difficulties installing the 5769 lights, it's important to know that the factory headlights come with the bracket attached. As a result, the installation process won't follow our standard guide and videos. To complete the installation properly, you'll need to purchase new brackets with trim rings attached from the dealership.

    • Issue: Loose Wires

    • It's a known issue with Jeep's factory plug, specifically the OEM H13 plug. If it's broken, worn, or appears loose when connected, the most effective solution is to replace the OEM H13 connector with a new one. While this can be expensive when purchased directly from a Jeep/Chrysler dealership, other online retailers offer the authentic Mopar part at a more affordable price. For more information, you can refer to this link: Jeep JK OEM Connector Issues

    • Issue: Loose Wires on Adapters

    • Keep in mind that there is a locking tab on the adapters. If the wires seem loose, you can simply push them further in, and they should lock into place securely.

    • Issue: All Internal LEDs Not Working

    • First, confirm if canbus adapters are installed. If they are, try swapping the adapter from the working side to the non-working side to see if the issue transfers. If canbus adapters are not installed, you'll need quantity 1x part # 2071-504.

    • If the issue persists after troubleshooting, the part must be sent in for inspection.

    • Issue: Latest Version with Anti-Flicker (Low or High Beam Not Powering On)

    • If you have the latest version with Anti-Flicker (main headlight cable labeled "anti-flicker equipped"), and your low or high beam is not functioning, please follow our troubleshooting guide to perform a reset of the onboard adapters.

    • Issue: High Beams Stay On

    • If your high beams remain on, it's possible that your Jeep has Daytime Running Lights (DRL). In some cases, this may occur with Canadian Jeeps, and on manual transmission Jeeps, the DRL activates when the parking brake is disengaged. To resolve this, you can turn off the DRL using a programmer or consult with a dealer for assistance.

Issue: LEDs Out on Halo:

  • If you experience LEDs out on the halo, no troubleshooting is needed. We'll initiate a photo warranty process to address this issue promptly.

Issue: Entire Halo Ring Completely Out:

  • To address a situation where the entire halo ring is not working, please follow these steps:

    • Ensure that the halo cable connectors are plugged in correctly with both arrows matching, as shown in the provided photos.

    • Double-check to make sure nothing is wired incorrectly or is loose in the connection going toward the power source or grounding of the wires.

    • If nothing appears to be incorrect or loose, we will issue an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) to have the product returned for further testing.

Issue: Color SHIFT Halo Showing a Different Color or Stuck:

  • If your Color SHIFT halo is displaying a color different from what you've selected or is stuck on one color, please follow these steps:

    • Ensure that the halo cable connectors are correctly plugged in with both arrows matching, as demonstrated in the provided photos.

    • Check that all the R (Red), G (Green), and B (Blue) wires are connected properly without pinches or crossed connections.

    • Issue: Headlight Works, But Halo Doesn't Power On:

      • Please double-check that the halo plug (the black oval connector) is properly plugged into the OEM Park Light/Turn Signal harness. A secure connection is essential for the halo to function.

      • Issue: Turn Signal Hyper Flashes:

      • If you want to retain the OEM park light/turn signal bulb and experience hyper-flashing, you'll need 2x Y Adapters (part number 5851-504).

      • If you prefer not to retain the OEM park light/turn signal bulb, you'll need 2x Load Equalizers (part number 5813-504).

      • Issue: Amber Halo Stays On and Doesn't Blink:

      • If you've installed Y Adapters and the amber halo remains steady without blinking, try removing one Y Adapter to see if the halo functions properly. If it does, you should replace one Y Adapter (part number 5851-504 x1).

      • Issue: Amber Halo Works, But White Halo Doesn't:

      • Ensure that your headlight switch is set to "On" or "Park Light." If it's correctly set and you still don't see the white halo, you can perform a BUS reset by unplugging the halo connector, disconnecting the negative battery terminal, reconnecting the halo connector, and then reconnecting the negative battery terminal. If the BUS reset doesn't resolve the issue, we'll issue an RMA and return label for further testing.

      • Issue: White Halo Works, But Amber Halo Doesn't:

      • If the white halo functions but the amber halo doesn't, we'll issue an RMA and return label to address the issue.

      • Issue: White Halo Doesn't Turn On Automatically:

      • The white halo operates on the same circuit as the Park Light/Turn signal. This means that the white halo will only activate when the switch is set accordingly, the same way the factory setup operates.

      • Replacement for 5769-123 Style Without Diffuser:

      • If you need a replacement for the 5769-123 style without the diffuser, please send us a photo of the halos in both the "on" and "off" states. If we determine that the style you have is without the diffuser, we will provide you with the one with the diffuser, as it's what we stock. To ensure you have a match, we can offer you a 25% discount on one single headlight to match the warranty. This offer applies only if your style doesn't include the diffuser.

Issue: Controller Problem:

  • If you're experiencing a controller issue, please initiate a photo warranty claim. You'll need to provide a photo of the faulty controller with wires completely cut off at the edge of the unit. The part number you'll need for this process is PN# 5769-DYNA-CON.

Issue: App Connectivity Problems (Using HALO RGB App):

  • For customers encountering app issues, especially when using the HALO RGB app, we recommend the following steps:

    • If you're using an Android device, ensure that GPS/Location Services are enabled in your phone's settings.

    • If the app still doesn't connect, try deleting and reinstalling the app.

    • Disconnect the controller fully from power and then reapply power to it.

    • If none of these steps resolve the issue, please allow 3-5 days for the issue to auto-resolve. In such cases, the problem is typically related to the app itself rather than our product. The app tends to auto-resolve bugs after a few days.

Device Name for Controller:

  • Your device name should appear as "Magic-Serial #" when you're configuring your controller.

Issue: LEDs Out or Acting Erratically (Not Halo Completely Out):

  • If you have LEDs out or they're behaving erratically (but the halo isn't completely out), this is a photo warranty issue with approval. The part doesn't have a specific rotation, so you can upload a photo in a public folder and process it with a 0.5x rate.

Issue: High/Low Beam Problems:

  • If you're facing issues with your high/low beams, check the connections and confirm whether Canbus adapters are installed.

Issue: LEDs Out on Both HLS in the Same Spot:

  • If you have LEDs out on both HLS (Headlight Lighting System) in the same spot, it's likely that the LED quantity is incorrect in the app. Please set it to the appropriate values to ensure proper functionality.
