Important Product Information:

• Please note that if the grill area is not prepped properly before installation or if the crosshair is installed over a dirty surface, the 3M tape may not adhere properly. This issue is not covered under warranty as it's related to an installation error. We recommend considering the use of epoxy to secure the crosshair to the grill.

• If you or the customer is looking to achieve dimming or "breathing" effects with the crosshair, you'll need to purchase a single-channel remote separately (part number: 1701-504). Please be aware that this remote is not included with the Crosshair.

The illuminated crosshair is compatible with the following vehicles:

• 2013-2016 Dodge Dart

• 2011-2013 Dodge Durango

• 2011-2014 Dodge Charger

The recommended wiring will depend on the color of the product. Below are some suggestions; however, customers have the flexibility to install the crosshair according to their preferences:

• White: Wire to the parking light or ignition.

• Any other color: Wire to a switch or remote. Please note that using other colors may not be street-legal in some areas.

Troubleshooting:

1. If a customer reports that their crosshair is dim, please reassure them that this item is designed to perform best at night. The electroluminescent (EL) film creates a soft glow, which may be less noticeable in direct sunlight.

2. If a customer says their crosshair is completely out, instruct them to test the crosshair directly with the battery. If it comes on, the issue likely lies with the wiring. If it still doesn't illuminate, replace the unit under warranty.

3. If a customer mentions that the crosshair is flickering, this is often due to moisture in the connector between the crosshair and the inverter box. To address this:

   • Have the customer unplug the connector between the crosshair and the inverter box.

   • Use compressed air to blow out any moisture.

   • Inspect the connector for damage. If it's damaged, remove the connector and reconnect the wires with a butt splice.

   • If there's no damage, reconnect the connector and wrap it in electrical tape or heat shrink to prevent future issues.
