Troubleshooting: Magic LED App Issues

If you encounter issues with the Magic LED app, please follow these steps:

  • Delete the app from your device and download it again, ensuring that your phone is running the latest software update. If you still face difficulties connecting to the app, please let us know, and we will assist you further.

  • At the controller, check if the fuse is popped. If it is, please replace it with a new one of the same AMP rating as the original. If the fuse is not popped, double-check the power and ground wires leading to the battery or power source. Ensure that the negative (black) wire has a solid ground with the factory metal in your vehicle and is not in contact with painted surfaces.

  • If you are still unable to connect to the app, test the yellow wire coming out of the voltage regulator with a voltage meter. It should read 5 volts. If it does not, please capture a picture of the voltage meter displaying this and we will assist you in replacing the voltage regulator. If you do receive 5 volts, please inform us, and we will provide further assistance.
