Troubleshooting:

Before diving into troubleshooting, it's crucial to identify whether your Jeep is equipped with halogen or LED lights and whether you're using a Plug & Play (P&P) harness.

Issues with P&P Harness Not Clicking into Place:

If you're experiencing trouble with your P&P harness, it's important to note that these harnesses use Weather-Pack Connectors that require a substantial amount of force to lock into place. If the harness isn't clicking securely, please give it another attempt with more force.

Troubleshooting Reverse Lights Issues (Halogen):

  • You Have P&P Harness: Please be aware that the P&P harness is not compatible with halogen-equipped Gladiators, as indicated in our website's compatibility notes. You should remove the harness and connect the Bumper Reverse Light Cables to the Reverse Feed at the 7-Pin Trailer Connector located in the bumper.

  • You Do NOT Have P&P Harness (Halogen): In some cases, an extra current drawn from the Bumper Reverse Lights may lead to a shutdown of the Tail Light's Reverse Light, subsequently affecting the Bumper Reverse Lights as well. In such instances, you should relocate the wires from the Tail Lights to the Reverse Feed at the 7-Pin Trailer Connector in the bumper.

  • T-Tap Connection Troubleshooting Guide: If the issue persists, please refer to our T-Tap Connection Troubleshooting Guide for further assistance.

Troubleshooting Reverse Lights Issues (LED):

  • You Have P&P Harness: Ensure the harness is firmly plugged in. Double-check that the Bumper Reverse Light Module Cables are connected with the arrowed keyways properly aligned (Arrow to Arrow).

  • You Do NOT Have P&P Harness (LED): Make sure the T-Taps are securely clamped to the Reverse Light Wiring, and the center metal contact effectively penetrates the wire insulation. Ensure the Male Spade Connectors are accurately inserted into the T-Tap, with the center metal contact correctly placed into the slot on the T-Tap.

  • T-Tap Connection Troubleshooting Guide: In the event that the issue persists, please refer to our T-Tap Connection Troubleshooting Guide for further guidance.

Resolving Tail Light Issues with P&P Harness Installed:

There have been reported cases where P&P harnesses were shipped from the factory with cross-pinned wires between male and female connectors. You should inspect the five white wires in the P&P harness that correspond to the five wires for the tail light blind spot sensor. Then, trace these white wires from the male end to the female end of the P&P harness, looking for any wires that are cross-pinned. If you identify such wires, switch the pins in the female side of the plug by removing the white center cap and following the provided instructions.

Addressing Condensation and Moisture:

Condensation, which may manifest as water droplets or misting on the lens, is a temporary occurrence caused by variations in inner and outer air temperatures. It's important to note that this is normal and does not signify water ingress. The condensation will naturally dissipate as temperatures equalize. If you wish to expedite this process, you can gently apply heat to the exterior of the lens. For more detailed information, you can visit our website at www.oraclelights.com/fog.
